Special Adoption Stories

Since we opened our doors in 1984, our history is rich with successful adoption stories.  We are very proud to share them with you.  Many of the dogs that have come through our doors have touched the hearts of their new families in so many ways.  Just like we have had incredible dogs come through here, we have also had incredible adopters come through here.  Included in the "Special Stories" section are essays that have been submitted by adopters of rescues and by the founder of SEBCRL, Jerri Carter.  Once you adopt a dog from SEBCRL, you become part of a unique and extended family.  We always love hearing stories about former rescues. If you have adopted a rescue from SEBCRL and would like to share your story please feel free to email them to Jerri Carter with the subject line reading "SEBCRL special story.  A warm hug and a big thank you to all who have shared your stories with us!

Ricochet

Hey!!

Here are some pictures of the new puppy, Shay. She's a Border Collie. Her original name was "Lacee" and we changed it to "Ricochet" and we call her "Shay" for short. Anyway, she is 5 months. Her registered name is "Richochetin'  Lacee  Lou."

Hope you like her!!

United Agility Champion Excellent SEBCR Panda is now working on her Utility title.  Our   congratulation goes to Nancy and Panda.

Pepper

Pepper was adopted in October, 2004. A friend of mine made it possible, and now thanks to Jerri, Pepper decided we were okay and she has made our lives happier.  Here’s a photo of Pepper in our front yard.

Thank you!
