The 2nd Chance Program

Border Collies who Need Sponsorship for Medical Treatments or Surgeries

Meg Completes Treatment

Meg is a fun-loving, smart BC mix who would be great for a family pet!  Sometimes a border collie mix is just right for a family.  She loves people and other dogs too.  Meg is 2 1/2 years old and has completed heartworm treatment.  Meg will be ready for adoption soon.  If you are willing to give her a chance at a forever home, please, contact us for an application.

The Second Chance Program $500.00

The Second Chance Sponsorship Program is designed to meet the needs of a specific Border Collie who is in need of medical treatments or surgeries prior to being eligible for adoption.  A Second Chance Donation ensures that a Sponsored Border Collie has the necessary funding, and hence, “Given a Chance” to be a member of a future family.  Sponsors of the Second Chance Program Donate $500.00 and are recognized as the dog’s “Second Chance Sponsor”.  The Second Chance Sponsor’s name is listed whenever and wherever that specific Border Collie’s name appears, especially when the Border Collie moves from the “Available” to the “Adopted” Web Page.

The Second Chance Sponsor will receive timely updates as to the condition of their sponsored Border Collie.  Second Chance Sponsors are featured and highlighted on the SEBCRL Adopted Web Page when their sponsored Border Collie is successfully adopted.

This specific sponsorship program is crucial, as it helps pave the way for our Border Collies move from “rescued” to “adopted” status.  The bond created between a new Adoptive family and the Second Chance Donator can be quite remarkable, hence the expression used throughout this website, if you can not adopt, rescue.  The Second Chance Program also includes, if desired, the individual or business’ name and/or logo with a hyperlink on our Second Chance Sponsors’ Web Page.
