Before Reba came into my home, she had been in three different homes. She was very shy and afraid of dogs, and many humans. In the next few weeks she began to settle in with me, but it still was not the best situation for her. She needed less confusion in her life. She was adopted by Mary Ann who has given Reba the special attention and patience she needed to get over her fears. Here is a "throw-away-dog" who now has earned her AKC Companion dog title, Companion dog excellent, and Canine good citizen. She is currently training for her utility title and also does agility. It makes me very proud to know that one of my rescues was so lucky to get a special home like the one Mary Ann and her husband Joe have provided. |
