It is uncommon for Southeast Border Collie Rescue to place a border collie with young children.  If you would like to adopt a border collie, and have young children, please refer to the Adoptions page before contacting us.

The Buddy Program $50.00 (Educational)

The Buddy Sponsorship Program is designed specifically to solicit the support of local areas students and their schools.  By increasing awareness at an early age, and allowing young students to become involved in rescue agencies such as this one, the opportunity itself enables a greater understanding of Animal and Pet Responsibility.  We at Southeast Border Collie Rescue League’s shelter strive to teach children of all ages that pet-ownership is a life-long commitment.  Buddy Donations ensure that the collective has the necessary day-to-day supplies, including toys and collars.  Buddy Sponsors Donate $50.00 and are recognized as an SEBCRL “Buddy”.  Buddies and the names of their school or classroom teacher are included on our Buddies’ Web Page for one year.
